Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has been invited applications for the recruitment of Stenographer vacancies on regular basis. Who's Candidates are interested Applications that can read Notification and Apply Online.
The Staff Selection Commission will hold an open competitive Computer Based Examination for recruitment of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ (Group ‘B’, Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade ‘D’ (Group ‘C’) for various Ministries/ Departments/Organizations in the Government of India.
The candidates will have to be appeared for the Skill Test for Stenographer. The candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English / Hindi at the speed of 100 word per minute (w.p.m) for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’. The matter will have to be transcribed on computer. The transcription time duration is as follows as below:
